Fotronix StopLight SL-80 High Speed Flash set of 4 - excellent condition. Here a chance to acquire a super rare, unique high speed flash system in perfect condition; ideal for freezing motion such as capturing birds in flight and other fast moving subjects. It can be used both in a studio setting or outdoor. The set consists of four flash units operated and powered centrally via a control box connected to a 12v battery.

Each head has all the electronic circuitry built in a weather sealed enclosure, which makes the flash very safe to operate since there are no high voltages circulating in the cables. The control box and the cable terminals are also weather proof and the system can be used outdoor in rainy conditions.

The flash is completely manual. The Stoplight 80 has a Guide Number of approximatly 80 at ISO 100 providing enough power to shoot f22 at 3.6 feet from the subject with a flash duration of 60µs ie about 1/17,000th sec. The flash tubes are color-corrected to 5250K.

The recycle time is a fast 0.6 second. The reflectors provide a pleasant, soft light. The flashes have been lightly used over the years and are in full working order. 4 StopLight SL-80 flash units. 4 cables (approx 4.3mlong).
